Bob Wilson

 Bob Wilson

Bob Wilson had a 25-year career in Queensland's print media before setting up his own freelance consultancy in 2005.

During a 17-year period with Queensland Newspapers, he worked as Property Editor and as a senior business journalist for The Courier Mail and as a Business Editor for the Sunday Mail. Prior to that, he was Business Editor of the Daily Sun and Sunday Sun, having earlier started his journalism career in Toowoomba, working on regional newspapers for eight years.

Bob has been working with Terry Ryder's hotspotting.com.au project since mid-2006 and contributes news items and features for the website.

Bob says: "The advantage Terry and I have over some commentators is that we have both worked on newspapers writing about property during the booms and busts of the 1980s and 1990s.

"People who understand the cyclical nature of property are in the best position to analyse what is happening the market."
