Techport facilities continue to expand

Babcock has opened its new premises at Techport Australia in Adelaide, Australia’s naval industry hub. The new facility is a key element in the company’s continuing expansion and future development plans in Australia. The new facility comprises a two-storey office building accommodating Babcock’s expanding engineering and service support teams. Babcock has won a significant contract on the Air Warfare Destroyer (AWD) project for the supply of deck-mounted torpedo launchers and is pursuing other opportunities within the AWD Alliance.
