Terry Ryder

 

Terry Ryder bought his first house in 1981 and been involved in real estate as an investor, researcher and writer ever since.

He has accumulated three decades of experience as a journalist, author and researcher specialising in residential property.

He is the author of four books on residential real estate and a specialist property writer for newspapers, magazines and websites.  

Terry published Confessions of a Real Estate Agent in 1998, followed by Buyer Beware in 2001 and Property Smart in 2002. His most recent book, Real Estate Without Agents, was published in 2004.

Terry is a columnist for The Australian newspapers, writing on Hotspotting issues every week.

He is regularly interviewed about real estate issues on radio stations around the nation and has appeared on TV programs such as 4 Corners, Today Tonight, A Current Affair, Your Money Your Call, Property Success, Extra and 60 Minutes (NZ).

Terry is the owner and creator of hotspotting.com.au, which provides information to property investors on how to identify emerging markets before they’re common knowledge.
