With Gosford marked by government as a regional growth centre, numerous revitalisation projects are under way in the CBD. The Gosford Hospital is being redeveloped and plans are in place for the Wyong Hospital to follow suit.
The Australian Tax Office has established a presence, bringing 600 employees to Gosford, while the Central Coast can expect to benefit from further government spending on infrastructure under the Central Coast Regional Plan 2036.
