Redland City - South East Queensland
Cleveland is the nerve centre of one of Brisbane’s leading lifestyle markets, Redland City, where the key suburbs overlook Moreton Bay.
The Redland City market is out-performing the overall Brisbane metropolitan area, with below-average vacancy rates and above-average price growth in some locations, both for houses and for apartments. It offers attractive affordability, relative to the amenity of the region.
The precinct continues to evolve from rural and urban, with a number of major new developments poised to accelerate the process. Evidence that a large development is getting under way is emerging, with Lendlease building roads for a 3,000-lot residential community.
Two other precincts within Redland City have been marked as Priority Development Areas. These bring promise of a new marina, revitalised retail, dining and entertainment areas, upgraded transport infrastructure (both marine and road), retirement villages and higher-density residential construction.
Population growth and developer incentives are touted as being just two of the key drivers of future activity in Redland City.
Only half an hour from central Brisbane, Redland City has easy access to the Port of Brisbane, and to Brisbane airport - one of Brisbane’s largest jobs nodes.
