A potent ingredient of the Bayswater LGA appeal is its proximity to both the Perth CBD and the Perth Airport complex. The State and Federal Governments have spent around $3 billion on road and rail projects centred on the airport precinct.
The domestic and international Perth airport terminals are currently being consolidated in a $1.5 billion redevelopment, while a proposed third runway is designed to support future growth in the Western Australian economy.
