The Cockburn LGA is one of five precincts leading the recovery in the Perth market. It has several suburbs on a growth trajectory, including Aubin Grove, Coogee, Hammond Park and Munster.
The City of Cockburn’s transformation from industrial roots to a vibrant and growing residential region continues to evolve. With the re-zoning of large tracts of land, this LGA is proactively courting population growth.
The State Government is supporting the urbanisation by spending $3.6 billion on improved rail services to the southern suburbs of Perth. This includes three new train stations which will better connect residents of Cockburn with Fremantle, the Perth CBD and Perth Airport, making it easier for residents to commute for work and leisure.
