$170mil NT gas pipeline promises 25 years' supply

Work has begun on a new $170 million gas pipeline that will run 285km from the Blacktip field in the Joseph Bonapart Gulf to the existing Alice Springs-Darwin line, then to the Channel Island power station for domestic use. Project developer, the APA Group, expects the reserves will provide gas for 25 years.
