: $2.3bil Sunshine Coast Transport Corridor plan released

The Queensland Government’s plans for the final stage of a $2.3 billion Multi-Modal Transport Corridor on the Sunshine Coast have been released for public comment. The final stage will accommodate rail, bus, cycle and pedestrian traffic from Kawana Town Centre to Maroochy Road.  The plans will be available for comment until 22 November. The first stage is currently under construction and the $75 million Caloundra-Mooloolaba Road will be finished early next year. The second stage will run from Creekside Boulevard to the Kawana Town Centre and is expected to begin mid-next year.
