Developers hope a $260 million mixed-use development on a 1.05ha site will transform drab Dee Why on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. It will feature six buildings from three to seven storeys, with 160 apartments, 100 strata offices totalling 6500m2, 780 car parks and a retail plaza. Excavation has begun on the site with an expected completion date of 2010. The development will also include the rebuilding of the Dee Why Hotel.
