26mil Aussies by 2020

Australia's population is growing faster than the rest of the world's and will reach 26.5 million by 2020, three million more than predicted. A snapshot of the nation in 10 years has found while the Baby Boomers will finally be retiring or dead, the next generation of government-encouraged births - the Baby Bonuses - will become the next population bubble. Social researcher Mark McCrindle predicts that as we approach 2020 we will be living longer, working later in life and returning to more traditional ways.
