$530mil Dalby power plant opens

The 450megawatt Braemar 2 power station near Dalby in Queensland has been officially opened. The gas-fired plant is jointly owned by Arrow Energy and ERM Power. Arrow is supply coal seam gas to the station at a rate of 5.5 petajoules per year, rising to 15 petajoules next year. The power station and associated has pipeline cost around $530 million.
