  • The latest data from SQIM Research that shows that the average vacancy rate across the eight capital cities is currently 2.1%, compared to 2.3% a year ago.
  • The individual vacancy rates across the capital cities, which show six of the eight cities have vacancies below 3%, of which four are under 1.5%.
  • Why Brisbane is the big improver in lower vacancy rates due to a rise in interstate migration as well as a peak in unit completions. 
  • How Hobart and Canberra are leading rental growth nationally as well as vacancy rates under 1%
