IMF tips Aust to out-perform

The International Monetary Fund says Australia's economy will grow faster than other developed nations. In its World Economic Outlook, it projects GDP growth of 0.7% for 2009. Its previous estimate, published in July, was a decline of 0.5%. It predicts 2% growth in 2010, having previously predicted a decline of 1.5%. It expects unemployment to peak at 7% next year.
