The Victorian Civil and Administration Tribunal has approved a major development of Camberwell Station. The Age reports that the tribunal has delivered an interim order supporting the project, with design changes. The plans include a nine-storey building, a three-storey building and a public plaza, with 118 apartments. Booroondara Council refused to give developer Tenterfield approval last year, leading to a challenge via the tribunal. The project has attracted widespread community opposition, including from actors Geoffrey Rush and Barry Humphries.
