NSW plans 2 power plants

The NSW Government is pushing ahead with plans for two large power stations, one near Lithgow and the other outside Muswellbrook. The plants will be fired by coal or gas and the Total Environment Centre says there will be “a massive backlash” against the Government. Both will be 2000mw facilities and are likely to cost over $2 billion each to construct.
