Tassie wind farm stalls

Tasmania's Premier David Bartlett has assured workers on the state's Musselroe Wind Farm project that their jobs are safe. Work has stalled indefinitely on the site, but Bartlett says the Government is committed to renewable energy investment in the state. Australian Greens Senator Christine Milne says renewable energy targets need to be adjusted, if investment in wind energy is to continue. Milne says Tasmania's Musselroe Wind farm is one of $20 billion worth of wind power projects nationally that have stalled because of bungled energy target legislation.
