Northern wheatbelt farmers in Western Australia are on target for a record harvest, in a major turnaround after years of drought-affected results. Bulk handler CBH says its storage sites at Mullewa, Perenjori and Yuna have all recorded their biggest ever grain haul. CBH Geraldton zone manger Duncan Gray says the current harvest will top the previous record of 2.58 million tonnes in 2005-06, with a haul that is five times bigger than last year.
