Six WA Suburbs Among Fastest Growing Investment Areas in Nation Over Past Two Years
Top investment suburbs of last two years across the nation have been led by the once-maligned Armadale, according to Hotspotting.
Once-maligned suburb of Armadale has recorded an 88 per cent increase in capital gains over the past two years — the steepest growth of any cheaper suburb in Australia in that timeframe.
Following Armadale were Withers in Bunbury (up 85 per cent), Orelia (up 75 per cent), Balga (up 71 per cent) and Midland (up 71 per cent) — all posting significant uplifts among suburbs with medians below $665,000.
Gosnells, up 67 per cent, also made the national top 10 list of fastest growing suburbs below that price threshold, meaning WA accounted for six of the top ten growth suburbs in the nation.
The impressive performance of these Western Australian suburbs reflects a broader trend of strong capital growth in more affordable areas, drawing attention from investors seeking value under rising property prices elsewhere.
These results highlight the dynamism of the WA market over the last two years, especially in suburbs previously overlooked but now showing marked performance in price growth metrics.
For property investors considering emerging hotspots, the trajectory of suburbs such as Armadale and its peers underscores the potential returns available in markets outside the traditional metropolitan core.
